New technologies

I may post a few more links here between now and week 4, to keep you up with some of the many new ideas and technologies that are out there.

Did you see the film Minority Report, where Tom Cruise uses his hands to manipulate screens in any context? That's not so far away.
The TED site has some amazing videos about technology that is nearly here.
Look at this one called the Sixth Sense.

How to link your blog to mine via comments

Hi everyone
Good work last night on our first class.
It seems 'following' a blog gets Safari all hot and bothered, and a few crashes happened.
Also, seems like it doesn't give me a link to your blogs : - (

So, you'll need to give me a link to your blog by adding a COMMENT to this post.
The tricky thing is making it HYPERLINKED, not just pasting in the web address or URL.

Here are your instructions:

How to post your hyperlinked blog

1. Click on Comments
2. Type in your greeting
e.g. Hi Jon, this is Sarah, visit my blog. Here it is -

3. Tricky bit but you can do it! - type in all the following characters.

( use the preview button to check that it worked first before you post your comment)

This should now show up as hyperlinked, so I can visit your blog!
